Are you a socials savvy creative excited to help elevate local brands? OB & Co. Media is seeking a social media content creator to join our team! We are a young and dynamic TC-based digital marketing agency. This is primarily a content creation position—content planning, analytics & reporting will be in collaboration with the OB & Co. team.

• $30/hour

• part-time: 10 hours/week (with opportunity to grow)

• contractor position

• split: remote + creating content on client site

 

Key Tasks

• Create consistent, meaningful, and on-brand social media content for a wide variety of clients/brands and social media platorms (reels/TikToks, posts, stories, etc)

• Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, affordances, & best practices

• Write engaging social media copy, switching between brand voice to engage with each unique client's audience

• Collaborate with OB & Co. team to create a monthly content calendar for each client, ensuring that all content works toward other marketing goals that month

• Publish posts according to the established content calendar

• Track appropriate analytics and create basic monthly reports

 

Experience

• Extensive experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok

• Proven ability to understand and engage with trends and provide unique, fun takes on them

• Photo/video/basic graphic design experience (iPhone content counts!)

• Ability to incorporate unique brand voice in content

 

Requirements

• A driver's licence & ability to drive up to 1 hr to create content on client site

• Good time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to understand the bigger picture of marketing/comms strategy and how your content fits in

• A thorough understanding of social media management and strategy

• A killer instinct for adapting aesthetics and voice across brands

• BA/BSc in marketing/new media/communications preferred (not required)
